Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Some models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps but it could lead to dangerous results.
In the same way certain models are difficult to fold and put away and store away, making them less convenient than others. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and bulky frames. This model also has a small canopy, which some testers find to be disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold down with the push of a button and pulling the lever. This model is also a good choice for parents who plan on using their car seat on other people's vehicles because it can be quickly detached from the base and then attached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold
If 2in1 travel system storing your car seat on its own or in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to be used on long walks. 2in1 travel system are also easy to maneuver and glide effortlessly over uneven surfaces. Certain combos are only attached and detached by straps. This could seem like a step in the back and could make it more difficult for parents to secure their car seat properly.

The only issue is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift up when carrying a baby in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combinations can be difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the most simple travel systems to put together. It even includes a helpful guide. Other models we tried like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to put together. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps - connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is quite quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to remove all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed easily on the majority of these models.
